Construction Compliance

Providing expertise from pre-construction through completion.

Merjent’s construction compliance experts have decades of experience providing environmental inspection and third-party monitoring services to the pipeline and electric power sectors.
Our in-house compliance management team, as well as the environmental inspectors and third-party compliance monitors we employ, understand federal and state regulations and procedures. We apply a reasonable, practical approach to construction mitigation by balancing the needs of the project and the requirements of regulatory agencies.

Experts in threatened and endangered species, cultural resources, wetland/waterbody resources, GIS and data management evaluate known and anticipated environmental resources and compare time-of-year constraints with the schedule of work activities.

We maintain a database of qualified, experienced, and knowledgeable inspectors and monitors who are respected industry-wide.

Merjent has a firm understanding of the phasing, sequencing, and techniques associated with construction and the best management practices (BMPs) that should be implemented to minimize impacts on the environment and natural and community resources during all phases of construction.

We maintain inspection records in a Fulcrum mobile data collection database and record geotagged photographs and narrative summaries of construction activities and highlight events or activities that were inspected.
