Some of our Wisconsin biological field staff took part in an internal training with state listed reptiles, provided by a professor from UW-Platteville. The training will allow us to add additional staff to the state authorized lists for handling these species. We stopped at three locations along the Lower Wisconsin Riverway. In addition to getting to work with these species up close, many of us were able to meet in person for the first time. It was a great day to be out, and the diversity we encountered was thrilling. This effort will allow our team even greater capacity and flexibility in meeting project needs in Wisconsin.
