Construction Support & Environmental Inspection
Merjent offers environmental inspection and monitoring services to the pipeline
and power line industries. Merjent maintains an environmental inspection database
of hundreds of qualified and experienced individuals that are established and respected
in their field. Merjent inspectors understand FERC and state regulations and procedures,
and apply a reasonable and practical approach to construction mitigation. Merjent
Environmental Inspectors (EIs):
- Provide constructive interaction with field personnel
- Anticipate potential problems and identify solutions
- Provide ongoing feedback regarding environmental compliance
- Provide assistance with problematic environmental requirements
- Act as liaison with regulatory agency personnel
- Conduct sampling and testing as required by permit conditions
- Maintain accurate written and photographic documentation
- Prepare daily and/or weekly inspection reports
Merjent operates a state-of-the-art, highly secure web-based reporting system
that automates document entry and report generation (based on Microsoft SharePoint
2007 and Microsoft SQL Server 2005). EI reports may be generated on- or off-line
and downloaded from the system via the Internet day or night. The database generates
automatic daily and weekly summary reports and can be queried for specific reports
and compliance analysis.
